On Friday evening, Formula 1 leadership and the Fédération Internationale (Fédération Internationale) released data on coronavirus testing for the past seven days.
From November 27 to December 3, a total of 6,770 tests were conducted among riders, team staff and maintenance personnel at the Grand Prix. Seven of these tests came back positive. One of the cases was the seven-time and current Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton.
F1 and FIA did not disclose detailed information, including about the personalities of the sick.
