A new anti-record has been set in Russia. During the day, 28,782 infected with COVID-19 were detected: this is the largest number of people since the beginning of the pandemic. The first place is traditionally taken by Moscow with 7993 infected people, in St. Petersburg – 3726 people, in the Moscow region – 1246. Next are the Nizhny Novgorod region – 495, the Republic of Karelia – 473 people. But at the same time, 20.4 percent of those infected did not have any manifestations of the disease.
In total, since the beginning of the pandemic in Russia on the morning of December 5, 2,431,731 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded.
