The film “Dylda” by the Russian director Kantemir Balagov was named the best film in a foreign language by the Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA).
The film also received an award as “Best Production Designer” by Sergei Ivanov. This is stated on the LAFCA website.
The film tells the story of two friends who return to Leningrad after the end of the Great Patriotic War. Girls want a new life and return to a peaceful order of things.
