In some, the immune response lasts for three months, in others for six months – this is primarily due to the form, to the severity of the disease, ”says Gunzburg.
According to doctors, when 70-80% of the population (including those who have been ill and vaccinated) will have immunity to coronavirus, the spread of the virus will stop. Gunzburg notes that it will take another 3-4 months to vaccinate all 40,000 volunteers announced for the third phase of trials of the domestic vaccine.
At the same time, according to the head of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection Dmitry Morozov , police officers will be included in the priority group of those receiving the coronavirus vaccine, along with doctors and teachers. This will be followed by all groups of citizens working in public catering and transport companies. Vaccination is still prohibited for citizens under 18 and over 60 years of age.
