ANASTASIA TALYZINA: “My Character IS Softer Than That Of My Grandmother

Genes are powerful. Despite her airy texture, Anastasia Talyzina, the granddaughter of the actress, whose name is inscribed in golden letters in the history of Russian cinema, did not connect her fate with ballet, as her relatives wanted, but decided to continue the dynasty. And everything is going well – projects from eminent directors, serials on federal channels. And even unexpectedly, from the lips of a young girl, to hear that the family comes first for her. Details – in an interview with the magazine “Atmosphere” .Anastasia, in our 21st century you are like a girl from a noble boarding house – pianos, classical novels, no bad language, ballet again …
You tell very funny that by nature you are not a fighter at all, that is why in “Sliver”, on stage combat, you either run away from the enemy, or simply skip. Tell us, then, how do you plan to cope with the competition in the profession?
Well, you can get rid of rivals not only with the help of fists. (Smiles.) The fight was never really close to me. I am totally against violence. I think you can always agree.
I try to manage my emotions, keep my feelings in my fist. I’m learning to be self-contained. It will probably take me a long time. Perhaps all my life. You know, as a child, I did what should, what my relatives expected from me. They knew very well all the complexity of the acting craft, the dependence of the profession and did not really want me to continue the dynasty. But they advocated for me to be associated with art. As a child, I myself did not think about my desires, about my future in this area. The fact that I was sent to ballet was to some extent natural – I grew up as a flexible, hyperactive girl, and it was worth directing my energy in the right direction. And there everything went like clockwork – everyone was happy with everything. True, I was not the first student because of my irresponsibility. She took ballet for granted, as a matter of course. I got up to the machine in the same way as I went to brush my teeth in the morning, because I got used to it from an unconscious age and did not even wonder if I liked it all or not. And by the way, it was when I was behind the scenes of the Bolshoi that I fell in love with the stage. I was fascinated by the atmosphere, magic smells, magic of the action. I began to have an irresistible craving for dramatic acting. And the more I danced on stage as a ballerina, the more matured the consciousness of what I really want – to be an actress. It cannot be said that this idea was too clearly formulated in my adolescence, but be that as it may, in ballet it was artistry, not technicality, that was my strong point. And, as you can see, everything worked out in the best way. Who knows, if no injury had happened, I would have jumped out of my usual way of life or not. Does this mean that you can not always agree with yourself?

I don’t remember saying that. And with whom I can one hundred percent agree is with myself. Of course, I know the inner chaos, but in the end everything will be settled. I am for the harmony of feelings and reason. As for the body,
Ballet teaches to express feelings without words, in contrast to dramatic art. What was your main difficulty during the restructuring? You went to acting school in high school, right?

Believe me, I have not encountered any difficulties in this regard. On the contrary, the very first lesson in acting inspired me – I finally felt in my place. In ballet, by the way, under all favorable circumstances, this was not the case. And here just absolute happiness – like a fish in water!
